Hi,

I’m Satchita Sarabi. I hope my bio gives you a sense of who I am and the work I do.

I am a therapist and entheogenic ceremonialist, and have a former career working as a somatic sex therapist, full-spectrum doula, and visual artist.

At my core, I am passionate about helping others connect with their inner wisdom, heart, and psyche. I offer support through individual and couples counseling,  and through entheogenic ceremonies. I work with people interested in cultivating deeper self-awareness, relational intimacy, and connection to their wisdom.

My work is rooted in healing traditions that honor the integration of body and soul. When we attune to the profound wisdom within, we open pathways to a deeper understanding of self and deeper connection to our inner resources.

As I continue my journey toward full licensure as a Marriage and Family Psychotherapist, I weave together depth psychology, somatics, and ritual-based practices to offer a holistic and personalized approach to being.

My hope is that my work serves as a container and catalyst for those seeking a more embodied and authentic connection to life.

My Journey

My path as a counselor, ceremonialist, sexologist, and doula was shaped by my own experiences of healing. There was a time when I felt completely fragmented due to trauma I experienced both in childhood and adulthood. Yet, deep inside, a part of me held onto hope. With support, I was able to move through the darkness.

Having undergone my own transformative healing process, I bring intuition, empathy, and non-judgment to my work. I understand how essential it is to have steady and nurturing support during times of deep transformation, and I feel honored to hold space for others on their journeys.

Movement, Embodiment & Healing Arts

My dedication to embodiment and awareness practices led me to study dance, yoga, and meditation for over two decades. These methods have been profound sources of healing, shaping my holistic approach to the body — both physically and psycho-spiritually.

I have trained in a range of movement disciplines, including:

  • Dance: Odissi (Indian Classical Temple dance), modern (Graham technique), West African, Afro-Brazilian, and tribal-fusion belly dance.

  • Yoga & Bodywork: I lived in India for four years and have extensive training in Tantric Buddhist and pre-Vedic Tantric Yogic traditions, classic Hatha, Kundalini, and Vinyasa Yoga. I have also worked as a bodyworker specializing in Thai-Yoga massage and am a certified Reiki practitioner. I taught Yoga for over fifteen years and hold a 500-hour teacher certification  from Lotus Land (formerly known as Laughing Lotus).
